A Tale of TwoCities (1859) is a novel by Charles Dickens, set in London and Paris before and during the French Revolution. My tale starts with Mayor Rahm Emanuel who blatantly Ignored the Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan’s history of anti-Semitic remarks, but has zero hesitation on condemning “Chick-fil-A by saying “Chick-fil-A’s values are not Chicago values. They’re not respectful of our residents, our neighbors and our family members. And if you’re gonna be part of the Chicago community, you should reflect Chicago values,”. Not only is the Mayor denying the people of Chicago JOBS, but the majority of the state agree with Chick-fil-A’s values on marriage. The one thing I know is Chicago values are not inline with Louis Farrakhan’s values…. What if Farrakhan ends up training and radicalizing the very gangs Rahm Emanuel sent him in to help? Then what mister Godfather? Your talking out of both sides of your mouth Rahm Emanuel and you have no idea who you’re teaming up with, OR DO YOU? As for Michael Bloomberg in 2002: Bloomberg banned public smoking in almost the entire city of N.Y. In 2005: The mayor of New York forced restaurants and other food vendors to phase out the use of artificial trans fats. In 2008: New York became the first city to pass a law requiring food service providers to post calorie counts menus. Then the Mayor tried in 2010: In his first strike at the soda industry, Bloomberg proposed barring people from using food-stamps to pay for sugary sodas, but failed. Again in 2010: Bloomberg urged state legislators to pass a soda tax that would allow the state to collect an additional penny per ounce of sugared soda sold; it also failed. Now the Mayor is getting in his grove so he tackles in 2011 cigarettes again, expanding the smoking ban to every corner of New York and is working on a complete ban in the city. Now in an effort to lower rates of high blood pressure and heart disease because the Mayor controls every part of our body & lives he wants all food companies to reduce sodium by 25%. If this is not enough the Mayor is spending an enormous amount of your tax dollars on a city wide advertising campaign on obesity like, the city subways are plastered with public health messages, such as the graphic anti-obesity advertisements that show a sugary soda turning into fat as it’s poured into a glass. Can you not decide what you want to do for yourselves and your families? or is this Governments job to protect us from ourselves. This is the defining question of the 2012 election. I’ve just given you a glimpse of how an Obama second term will fundamentally change America. Rahm Emanuel and Michael Bloomberg are just two examples of how the progressive agenda will control every part of our lives – mind (dependency & political correctness) – body (Obamacare) – soul (religious freedoms) . YOU decide who’s in control of who, Government of you or you of Government?
